About PenaltyBox Foundation
The PenaltyBox Foundation was founded in 2018 by Drew P. Laine as a way to support an amazing community of hockey families brought together in a Private Facebook Group. The foundation focuses on providing micro grants and donations to individuals and organizations who have had or are actively progressing the game of hockey and the international hockey family. Officially named The PenaltyBox Relief Fund (DE S-Corp), DBA The PenaltyBox Foundation is an IRS approved 501c3 exempt organization.
Through an amazing community across multiple continents, our team seeks out amazing individuals and organizations who are part of the international hockey family to support with donations and grants. Whether it is a team looking to expand the game in an under privileged are or a hockey family who has suffered an unspeakable loss, we look to take care of our own.
We have a committee of hockey coaches, parents and players in the United States and Canada who review donation requests on a monthly basis for approval.
